GreenRockets #7554 

We were approached by Yafia’s local council approached us with a request to start an FRC team of their own. We began working, and after months of work, we started FRC team GreenRockets #7554. We also secured Microsoft as the team’s main sponsor. The team consists of 74% girls, providing females in the Arab sector opportunities to explore the world of STEM. They have already started FLL Jr, FLL and FTC teams.

 

During their 2019 season, they won all three rookie awards, flew to the world championship in Detroit, winning the Rookie All-Star award there! In just one year, GreenRockets have completely changed their community.
